Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire are the first pair of core series games that take place in the Hoenn region. In these games, the player begins their adventure in Littleroot Town, where their family has just moved from Johto after Norman, the player’s father, became the Petalburg Gym leader. The player is riding in a moving van that stops in the town. After they exit, their mother explains that they have just arrived at their new home. After the player introduces themselves to Professor Birch, the story picks up.
